And I'm 2/3 on like 8 different Salvage pieces D: and...Maew moved to China so we never get to do stuff with him :( and we did Splitting Heirs 4x but only won once but we got witch sash from the win! and...Tsola is 14/15 Morrigans! and Arc is like 13 or 14/15 on Usu! and Seeko has a lot of stuff too...He got Enkidu leggings and harness and something else i forget! and I got my Naglering! and...we did ZNM Hydra x2 and got Alkalurops and Enkidu Cap but I gave both away even tho it was my pop! and...I got BLM AF2 pants finally! and whm hands! (woo I can store my stupid WHM AF2!) OH! and tso got RDM HAT! yay!

Oh I forgot to say that I got Bandomusha Kote! My first pair of kote all my own /joy! We've been killing Xol w/ no competition (shhhh) for like almost two weeks now? And got two Kote in a row after like 8 kills, one for Darkk and one for me! Still need Kote for Endy and Krosis, though... plus I'm fairly certain Krosis/Endy wouldn't mind the Harpe as well. Yay kote!

I haven't really done too much lately, just the regular rounds of Salvage, Limbus, ISNM, ENM, etc.

We attempted to low-man Jailer of Faith on Sunday (I think on Sunday? lol) but we failed because well, I have no idea really cos I was dead and afk for most of the fight - I think we just needed one more BLM, lol. Hopefully Maew can come help out next time we try!

Tonight we did what we thought was gonna be low man Proto-Omega, but it turned out we had like 11 people plus a pet, so it wasn't so low, lol. It went really well considering that this was our first try doing anything together as a group! Actually, it went really well regardless of that, lol. Sadly, we only got Homam head and hands, no legs for Darkk :( which I really wanted. I could talk more about Omega but I'm lazy and it's almost 6am, so on to the next!

Darkk and I have been leveling DNC together for the past um, two weeks? maybe more, I have no idea, but we finally hit 37 on Sunday! Then we proceeded to (finally) skill up together without needing any outside heals. Both of us got Great Sword to 250 today in preparation for DRK, which we both have at 37 and intend to level to 75 with Tsola's SCH...unless he leaves us behind! He's got some crazy plan to get to 75 really quickly (or at least, quicker than most people get to 75).

Let's see...what else? Oh! I got Ares's Cuirass last week, it's really cool ^_^b Now I feel like I have to level PLD/DRK in order to make the best use out of it...one of the many reasons I decided to level DRK with Darkk and Tso rather than DNC. I've been feeling that way a lot lately actually, been kind of annoyed at myself for leveling such random jobs. I did WHM and BRD to 75, but not SMN; WAR but not DRK or PLD; BLM but not RDM; MNK and NIN but not SAM. The gear I have is good for all those jobs, pretty much, but I hardly ever leveled the jobs in the same category! Now I want to go back and level everything to make the most efficient and best use of my gear, lol. I guess that makes me crazy!

I got my DRK to 37 (finally!) and been leveling my DNC, which is 15. I probably should have taken screenshots to make this post more interesting, but right now I'm sitting in Meriphataud Mountains [S] waiting for another campaign battle to start so I can catch up to Darkk's MNK in xp!

OsoSabroso claimed Fafnir today with like no healers there, so Darkkaze asked me to go help. They had pretty much gotten everything under control by the time I got there, but I stuck around doing heals/raising (once) anyway.




I was like ooh E! But didn't really know if they were any good or even if I was allowed to lot, lol, but Doom said free lot! I asked anyway, since I'm not in LS anymore...

It's happening again...

As soon as the holidays start coming, as soon as winter break gets close, I start losing interest in FFXI. I don't know why, shouldn't it be the other way around? More time to play, woo? It's more like, wow I have so much time to play - but I really don't want to. There are things I wanna do, like finish NIN (69 for fucking ever D: ), get DRK to 37 (been 31 forever too...), and like, I dunno, other shit. I just don't feel like it...just like I don't feel like studying for my French final in 8 hours -_-;;

Anyway, if I disappear over the holidays, don't fret - I'll be back eventually...

So, despite my almost unintelligible post about the skills of retail shops in my area, I got WotG at GameStop last Friday (yes...Black Friday...at the mall. /die). It took almost no time at all to install, but the update took forever! Darkk and I had agreed to explore new areas together, so even though he got his copy a few hours before me, he was stuck on 56k at his parents house and took like 8 hours to update his copy - so I had to wait even more, lol.

New areas are kinda boring really, same old zones, just less faded and not full of ruined buildings. It's a huge pain in the ass getting from one place to another, there's no chocobos or teleporting or anything (<3 Kiddos for Gaiters!). After unlocking all the maws, it's way easier to just warp back to the present, travel to where you need to be, and then take a closer Maw back.

Unlocking the new jobs was incredibly easy, especially considering the job quests for the ToAU expansion (I still haven't unlocked COR!). Dancer was just a lot of running around - it's kind of confusing when you're trying to do a quest and can't tell whether you're supposed to talk to the person in the past or the present, because you read the walkthrough too fast and don't pay attention :(. Scholar was more running around because I didn't want to pay 40k for a stack of vellum, had to go to CN[S] to trade rolanberries for'em. Then I almost forgot to go as BLM to use 2hour, lol. I wonder why BRD 2hour wouldn't work, isn't that also a continuous form of energy? Our songs are more potent or whatever for like three minutes! BLM/RDM/BLU are only for like 30 seconds! Oh wellz.

My friend Anthony quit a couple days ago, I guess I wasn't really surprised because he hasn't really been playing much for months. Damn WoW for sucking away all my friends! However, I was kinda surprised when he offered me his account - which I took, lol. Spent the past couple days trying to organize his inventory and clean up his mules so I wouldn't feel bad about deleting them. I have a separate account that is just three mules, no real characters, so I wanted to remake mules on Anthy's account - didn't want to pay for three accounts! Finally moved all my crap and some of Anthy's leftover crap onto the new mules, got'em all the Jeuno, got'em Tenshodo and ToAU access, and now trying to decide whether or not I actually want to take them to Whitegate, lol.

I'm not just abusing his account for mules, though. I used Anthy's BRD to PL my DNC to 10, it only took a few hours, mostly took longer because I started falling asleep from boredom. Not exactly a stellar gaming experience at lower levels, let me tell ya. Attack, Dance, repeat. I got my first dance at level 5...and it got old about halfway into it. Don't get me wrong, it's cute as hell - but it just got really repetitive.

I had this dream...where I was in game except the game was real life and something I was camping popped and I was really excited and went to claim and tried to tell LS but some noob BLM cast Stun on it before I could. The NM was like, a gigantic fuzzy dinosaur/horse/dog thing and I was climbing on it and got Stunned also? But then the BLM was trying to kill it and it somehow turned into a gigantic PS3 package and he couldn't get the tape open so he went to get an employee to open it for him...and I was standing there waiting in case it popped out of the box and I could somehow claim/steal it?
Then the employee person (who was also a GM) came and ripped off the tape and cracked open the box and I could see the gigantic PS3 and I cast Flash on it and he's like, sorry that's against the rules and wouldnt let me claim. So the BLM took it and died so i was like yay and claimed it but all the Pansies ppl were there and all like, sorry you're not in Pansies you don't get to fight it or get any loot and I was really upset cos I was the one who camped it and claimed it and everything!

But where did the fuzzy dinosaur/horse/dog go? :(

I was my normal overdramatic self today.

Not for any particular reason, I just don't feel like being part of an HNMLS right now. I took a week or two away from Pansies and enjoyed it, came back and in less than a week I was miserable...ergo, I left.

I haven't written in a while. I've been leveling NIN this past week or so, got from 43 to 58 so far ^^ I don't have any screenshots on my lappy but will SS y'all later! ;)

Oh, and I got BLM AF2 feet free lot! And last night I won lot (998 bitches!) on Diabolic Silk, so I can finally upgrade my af1 hat! Woo!

I finally have my first piece of BLM AF2! After like 3 years of having BLM at 75...and basically lotting only BLM for all but a handful of runs.


Granted the stats are kinda meh...but it's cutaru!

After a disappointing Dynamis-Xarcabard [no BLM again ;_; ] and a disappointing KS99 [no Wyrm Beard for kiddos ;_; ], I went to skillup my GS on the Lesser Colibri outside Al Zahbi. I started skilling it this morning when it was level 44 and now its around 120ish, which is pretty awesome ^_^

I broke the latent on my Sapara yesterday and got my Savage Blade WSNM done (omg triple boxing was stressful! Stupid Altepa Gate is the gayest thing in the game, srsly)



I also hit 240 Great Axe, so after we finished killing that Girtablulu thingy in the deepest depths of the hell that is Quicksand Caves, I went and started my GAxe WSNM quest. I still need to break the latent on it, so I'll probably get that done tomorrow.

Anyway, back to my story. Dirizzit suggested that we go camp Pallas/Alky again (the first time we got a bunch of Pallas pop items and one or two Alky pop items but nothing dropped). Darkkaze came to help and I 2-boxed Aoshi's THF for TH4. I think we were there like three hours or so before I started getting sleepy, so I suggested that we give up and go to bed. Darkkaze had left a little bit ago, but right before I left...



Hell, it won't hurt to kill a useless NM before bed, right? I mean, nothing good ever drops for ME...



And yay! Dirizzit had been saying all night that he was camping/farming pop items for me cos of the help I'd given him in the past. I never really pay attention to who I'm helping, so I was kind of surprised that he remembered things that I had already forgotten (even though I was there for his Mission 7.2 thingy like a day or two ago...bad memory! Saw it in my screenshot folder just a bit ago tho, which jogged my memory, lol). He had asked a RDM and THF friend to join us, so I figured they would want a split of the sale or something, but nope! Alky's [mine]!

YAY! I was like searching n searching online and calling the places that said they were available except they never were! And so I am at my parents house and I'm like, hmm I'll try Walmart! And so I call and I'm like, do you have any Wiis in stock? And the guy (Lance) says, I think we have 6 let me check! And he comes back saying that there's only 3 left! So, I'm like O_O;; Can you hold one for me please? and he said yes!

When I got there, mine was the only one left! /win!!
